Bette Jo Gray Pinkerton was born January 30, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah and passed away
February 3, 2005 in Riverside, California as the result of an automobile accident.
Pinkerton grew up in Salt Lake City and was a head cheerleader at West High School.
She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Utah in 1965
and had a 30 year career teaching students not only the required curriculum but tried to
enhance their growth by emphasizing character education.
She married Dale K. Pinkerton on September 7, 1968. She was known for enjoying time with
friends, caring for pets, and gardening.
